Life, Stories & Wool from The Shetland Islands

Join us on our journey in Shetland, exploring our new home and croft life, and the woollen crafts that inspire me.

Our Journey in Shetland Islands

Dear Friends, As we stand at the threshold of an exciting new chapter in our lives, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and encouragement. Thank you for joining us on this incredible journey as we embrace our new crofting life in the beautiful Shetland Islands.

Bringing with us, our love of wool and the crafts that use it. We will continue to bang the drum for British Wool and now, particularly, Shetland Wool. I will be targeting my designs, patterns and course more specifically to the inspiration I get from where, we now, call home - Shetland!

Exploring the serene landscapes of Shetland is not just about discovering new horizons; it’s about intertwining our lives with the land, the traditions, and the culture that thrive here. We hope that your eyes will be opened to the breathtaking beauty that surrounds us—the rolling hills, rugged coastlines, and vibrant wildlife and the crafts that they inspire.

Share in our adventures, both big and small, and let’s create new memories that will last a lifetime. Whether it’s traditional crofting practices, exploring the islands, or enjoying the local cuisine, there is so much to share and celebrate.

Thank you once again for being part of our lives and supporting us on this journey. Here’s to new beginnings and cherished moments in Shetland! With all our love, Mark & Jaci xx
